Last Saturday, May 8, 2010, Manlayaan Day Care Center was so grateful for the ff: gifts:
  • Blackboard
  • White and Colored Chalks
  • Blackboard Eraser
  • School Supplies
  • Tote bag and pencil cases
  • Dish Dryer
The day before, we packed the school supplies for each children. This is my cousin, Merry.



Our family has a small bag manufacturing business so we made some tote bags and pencil
cases which we printed with "Army of Angels" logo. This is our family's personal gift for each
children.


This is the way to the school. Not really something which you would consider a mountainous
area. I have been there once, and its a very typical provincial setting.Humble but lush with
greeneries.


If you go further, you will pass by the neighborhood. This is where they live. See the child
of about 10-12 years old taking care of her baby brother. Ten years earlier for someone to
understand motherhood while in childhood. This is a very old pattern that have been
prevalent for so long. Maybe next time, one of our angel tasks would be to bring awareness
on family planning and other concerns that would help our society elevate into a higher
consciousness so that we can minimize the basic problems like hunger, poverty, theft and
others and move on easily to enjoy more fulfilling areas of life such as learning the creative
arts,music, sports, science and technology and others.


This is the community hall which we call in Philippines "Barangay Multi Purpose Hall". Inside
this is the small area for the Day Care School


Here is the multi-purpose hall. Behind it is the Day Care Classroom. During this time the
barangay officials are busily preparing for the coming election.


Day Care Classroom. Only a handful of students are here because its still summer vacation.


Our Gifts to them with the teacher Ma'am Arlene P. Noves. See the cute army of angel bags.
Each one contains notebooks, pencils, erasers, crayons, and paper surely to surprise the kids
this coming school year on June. Now that they receive their own blackboard, they don't have
to borrow one from the barangay hall.



These are some of the young students. These are the faces of the future of our nation. Well,
the future looks clueless! But we are here, Army of Angels who are guided by wisdom
and intelligence. We can make the future become clear, abundant and heavenly,if we
choose to.
