Villa Victoria Day CareJuly 19, 2010
On June 10, 2010, Villa Victoria Day Care received our gifts.
* Blackboard *Waterjug *School Supplies *Army of Angels pencil case The gifts were picked up by the teacher, Ma'am Merly Vinas (in red shirt) who has been teaching for 15 years in her area. She is receiving a salary of 2000 pesos / $ 44 every three months. I have high respect for human being such as her. I could feel a profound energy of selflessness in them. This was taken in front of our house where our covered garden is with my mom handing over the gifts. ![]()

Thank you God. Thank you angels. More little lives have felt hope and hapiness. Something they can remember when they grow up. Something that will encourage them to do goodwill to others because it is done unto them.

June 2, 2010, Wednesday, the same day that we went to Tumayan Day Care School, we have
given the following gifts to San Isidro Kanluran Day Care School *Blackboard *Blackboard Eraser + White and Colored Chalks * School Supplies * Army of Angel Bags and Pencil Case As usual, this is the way to the school which is very near to Tumayan. Just so you have a clue of where the energy of compassion reaches. ![]() Our active team of Army of Angels working their way to deliver our intent of loving kindnes towards our brothers and sisters in remote areas where I found out not so many people have a clue of their real situation. ![]() This is the classroom, as usual, located just beside the barangay Hall. I'm sorry the picture is quite dark because there is only one lightbulb which is located in the barangay hall area. So just a little bit of a diffused light from the same bulb reaches the classroom. The students are not here because the angels are in Tumayan School in the morning and when they reached San Isidro, the children have already gone to their homes. I remember when I was younger, we had lights, snacks and encyclopedias and all and I would just eat all my snacks (promising myself to study after that) and I will just be glued to the tv or sleep afterwards, not finishing even a single page of reading. Maybe a paragraph or two. How ungrateful of me. ![]() Well, to shed some light to their kind of dark situation, we have brought our gifts. I'm sure when the kids return to school and see their gifts, they'll be delighted. Some parents wouldn't let their children go to school because they cannot afford to buy even a piece of notebook. So what we're doing is a huge help for them already. Be proud of yourselves angels. We're almost reaching the highest of heavens. (lolx)

On June 2, Wednesday, Tumayan Day Care Center received the following gifts from us:
* School Supplies * Water Jug * Chalks This is the way to reach the school. The angels have to cross the river which is now dry because of the drought (el nina). And then there is a thin feeder road. During rainy seasons when the water level rises, the teacher would carry the students across the river one by one to get them dry and safe to the other side. ![]() Here is a typical dwelling/house of the locals. I slept once in a house like this eons ago and I find it very relaxing as one can smell the natural scent of nature passing through the slits between the wooden flooring and walls. The elevated flooring is their natural airconditioning system by the way. ![]() These are the children around the neighborhood. I'm guessing some of them don't go to school, some do. It depends if the parents can afford. ![]() Our angels traversing the remote areas in order to reach the school. My cousin, Myka is wearing our Army of Angels bag. :) ![]() Here is the Tumayan Day Care Classroom attached to the Barangay Hall. ![]() Here is how the inside looks like. The teacher, although receiving very very small salary still manage to produce the Visual aids by herself. ![]() Students with their teacher in blue shirt. Could you imagine this thin lady carrying each of the students across the river one by one? You would have thought, she's just a high school student. ![]() Here are our gifts. School supplies inside the Army of Angels bags and a water jug so they can store clean drinking water.Remember its not like the city where you can just call the grocery store to have your water delivered right at your doorstep or if you have a purifier machine that makes it easy to get your edible water straight from your faucet. ![]() Giving away of gifts by Anakin. It's a good idea as well to introduce to your children the concept of giving and sharing at an early age. Imagine when they all grow up embedded within them the idea that we all deserve to receive and give abundance, then the leaders of the next generation can make heaven seem possible to attain while here on earth. I personally believe that we do not have the right to even think that we are superior of inferior than anybody else. This, in an accumulative level, is what causes wars amongst nations, destroying his own brothers and sisters on earth, forgetting the love that we have for each other.

On May 13, 2010, Thursday, Malabtog received the following gifts from us.
*Blackboard *Chalks *School Supplies *Army of Angels Bags and pencil case *Dish Dryer *Water Jug The school supplies were packed the same day before we went to Labnig and Malabtog. ![]() Malabtog and Labnig have the same way initially if coming from the uptown area. But at the later part, they will separate by a fork in the road. This is the end part going to Labnig Day Care Center. ![]() Here is the classroom. The temporary walls were built upon a stage/platform of the Barangay hall. ![]() The students, just like Labnig Day Care School have anticipated our coming so they are here waiting for our gifts. Remember, the teacher in Labnig, Ma'am Aletha Calvelo who is teaching two classes at the same day receiving only 800 pesos/ 66 dirhams/ 17 dollars per month? This is the second class she is teaching. I love their smiles. ![]() ![]() This class doens't have a blackboard at all. Here is a new one from us. Is that an Orb of light at the upper right? ![]() As usual, each student received school supplies contained inside the Army of Angels bags and pencil cases. Pink for the girls. Blue for the boys. I'd like to have one pink bag also :) ![]() The teacher (in red shirt) together with the students and parents. Yes, they were so thankful for receiving such wonderful gifts. This doesn't come very often in their lives. But we did it. Our sharing of love and compassion is growing ang growing. That's an achievement no amount of money can equal with. We deserve to have Army of Angels Medals (for fun) don't we?

On May 13, 2010, Thursday, Labnig Day Care School received the following gifts from us
As usual, we packed the school supplies the day before ![]() This is the way to the School. It is similar to the way to Soliyao, rough roads passing through the ricefields and hills. ![]() This is the classroom. Seems like they ran out of hollow blocks and cement to finish a portion of the wall. I heard, they are being careful not to lean on the wall because it might trigger the cracks to break down. ![]() Unlike other day cares that we have been to, Labnig prepared for our coming so almost all of the children are gathered here to welcome Army of Angels eventhough it is still summer vacation. Notice the blackboard on the wall. It is not theirs. We delivered one new blackboard for this classroom so they can return this to the barangay hall. ![]() Here is the new blacboard. The woman in red is their teacher. Her name is Ma'am Aletha Calvelo. She teaches two day cares in one day. 3 hours in Labnig and 3 hours in Malabtong. She is receiving a salary of 800 pesos/ 17 dollars per month for teaching at both classes. This is how much we pay for single meal in a fancy restaurant. I think she deserves a lovely gift one day from us. ![]() Giving of School Supplies and Bags which we printed with Army of Angels logo. Blue for boys. Pink for girls. How cute. ![]() Here are some of the parents of the children, waiting outside. ![]() Labnig Day Care Students with the teacher. Thank you Angels for making them happy this schoolyear. Well, this is the fourth school now. How many little lives have we touched so far? Couldn't count them and there's more...:)
